Weight: 50 gMade up of 50% green tea and 50% toasted rice, this classic Japanese tea is a delicious favourite. This combination of roasted rice and tea gives it an intensely buttery and nutty note on the nose, amplified when it is brewed. A light green-yellow liquor is produced. A perfect blend of sweetness from the green tea and a buttery note meld together, with a distinct toasted note settling on the tongue. A great brew all year round.
4-6 grams of tea using 80 degree water, suitable for gong fu brewing and in larger pots.
Brew for 25 seconds gong fu style, up to 4 times, adding 15 seconds to each brew thereafter.
Brew up to 2 times in a larger pot of around 350ml or up to 3-4 times in a kyuzu.
