Nargiza Black
Nargiza Black
Weight: 40 gMy star black tea, Nargiza Black is a delightful Georgian black tea I find perfect for afternoons and to go with a light breakfast.
A minerally and pleasantly malty note graces the nose. It produces a rich red liquor in the cup. The flavours include a light assortment of berries, a hint of dark chocolate, with a pleasant sweetens that lingers in the mouth after drinking.
This warming and relaxing black tea reminds me of lighter Chinese red teas. Incredibly refreshing and good for 4 sessions of gong fu brewing, my preferred way to drink this tea. However is is still good for two infusions in a larger pot.
Brewing parameters:
4-6 grams of tea using 95-98 degree water, suitable for gong fu brewing and in larger pots.
Brew for 30 seconds gong fu style, up to 4 times, adding 15 seconds to each brew thereafter.
Brew 1-2 times in a larger pot of around 350ml.
Please note you can experiment with this according to your own taste.
